What's Eating My Wife?
My wife has gained 50 pounds over the past five years we've been together. She’s doesn’t carry the extra weight well, the extra pounds are shockingly noticeable. Her eating habits have changed drastically. But I remain hopeful that she would take charge of her diet. My wife has always been a petite woman she was an active cyclist in college. I'm aware that women go through all sorts of changes with their body. I know she's not pregnant, because my desire for sex has diminished ever since she gained weight.
The other night my wife came home with five large chocolate bars and surprisingly, she polished them off that night. I don’t know what to do. My wife is very sensitive. When she was in high school she struggled with bulimia nervosa. (An eating disorder which forces people to binge on large amounts of food and then eradicate the calories by vomiting.)
I told my wife that she should work out with me, I like to stay active and I try to incorporate a healthy diet plan into our busy schedule, but my wife shrugged me off. She could be in denial.
A couple a weeks ago she put on a little black dress that was extremely tight and unflattering. My wife strutted out the door comparing her figure to Marilyn Monroe.
I don’t know what to do, I’m open to all suggestions! Larry.
