Aries + Aries

Putting two fire signs together means automatic competition.

Aries and Leo are two of the most competitive signs of the zodiac. Aries can be pretty blunt — they want to lead and make things happen. Two Aries will be a lot of competition, but they will communicate well with each other. They don't have to fear mincing their words with each other, because they're going at the same pace. They'll have a strong wavelength with each other, because they'll be on the same page about going forward in life. The problem with dating someone who has the same sign as you is that a lot of tasks will get doubled up on while others never get done. Aries loves to get things started, but often moves on before finishing projects. This means as a couple you may end up with a messy house or with a lot of unnecessary objects, unfinished hobbies, and the like. You'll both dabble into things to try out the world and see what you like. It will take some intention on both of your parts to clean up after the messes you produce, and also to stay focused on what really matters.

Aries are somewhat apostle minded. They like to venture into the world, get their hands dirty, and champion the weaker ones around them. This will be an incredibly intense relationship. Both of you will attract great and terrible things into your home as you venture into the world and challenge it. You may have heated fights, but both of you enjoy this, so it won't tear you down. This is a good match for Aries. It allows both Aries partners to really mobilize in the world and not feel tied down -- which is one of the most important aspects of a relationship for an Aries.

Relationship With Independence

It's an incredibly independent sign. It is the first sign of the zodiac and like the first child of a mother. It wants to separate from the past and to continue to move forward. It doesn't want to go back to the womb, it finds that strongly disturbing more so than the other signs. This is partly because as the first child it witnesses the births of other signs, and sees the importance of the children separating from the mother. This gives good health both to the parent and the child.

Aries has a strong amount of energy. It comes right after the end of the cold spell with Pisces. Aries is a mix of storm systems. It's not in the central part of spring when we have full blooms and green trees everywhere. Aries is about intense energy -- from hail, strong winds, downed trees, tornadoes, a mix of temperatures, and lightning. Aries is so much energy, that for some parents it can be too much to handle. One spring can differer massively from the next, and that's the same with Aries. You'll find some Aries like a calm spring day, vibrant, engaging, and chill. You'll also find Aries that have a great gravity to their energy, like a storm cloud getting ready to produce thunder and lightning.

Harnessing Your Energy

Spring opens our eyes up to the possibilities of creation. Aries again is constantly creating various projects. This is why spring is so random. Spring can't make its mind up on whether it wants to be cold or hot, rainy or sometimes snowy. One day its cloudy the next its sunny. Aries is a creative soul, that's been pent up in those last winter months of the year. Aries wants to share all this electric creative energy, and it sets up the rest of the year with that energy. The new year really begins with the Ram and ends with the Fish. What you plant and put together in Aries is what you'll hold onto for the rest of the year. It's a good time for spring cleaning, getting in touch with your spiritual self, going on a spring break, and filing your taxes.

Aries isn't for the faint of heart. You have to be open to the constant changing tides. People often break up in Aries with spring break. Exes come back into your life, wishes get fulfilled. It's because Aries is all about manifestation of reality. When you have two of these people come together, it creates a lot of friction, energy, and possibility. Again, there is a lot of shades of Aries out there. You may have one that's more dynamic and one that's more calm. They'll both understand and be rooted in their search for making creativity happen. Together and on the same page this pair is unstoppable. They are likely to travel around the world, change up things in city council, go on soul missions. The possibilities here are endless.

Two Aries do well to dwell on their thoughts. This isn't always what Aries wants to do because it is a more active than reflective sign. It is a strong yang-masculine sign. But sometimes without reflection you'll repeat the same problems, come up empty handed, or frustrate yourself to no end. Aries needs to take wisdom from its neighbor Pisces or even Aquarius on allowing its emotions to mature and to have better patience. Aries doesn't want patience. Typically, an Aries wants to be in action immediately. This can wear you out and strip you cold of the necessary energy you need to get through the day, the week, the year, a decade, and so on.

Navigating an Aries and Aries Relationship

You'll have strong conversations, a passionate sex life, and innovative lives. Be careful with how you handle your anger. If the both of you are having a temper tantrum it could unravel the relationship more than you want. Focus on healthy communication. You can fix a lot of things by coming together in the bedroom, but don't use that space only to distract from your problems. You need to look at your problems head-on and have more vision. Consider the Leo and the Sagittarius who have developed more vision than Aries. You can borrow from them and learn how to better manage your future. Aries is capable of great thoughts, this is why the sign is symbolized by the mind. There is an awesome amount of electricity in the mind. You need to focus your thoughts rather than scatter them all over the place.

Controlled energy will help you to get to where you need to be. Don't always let sarcasm, humor, and jest drive the relationship. It's okay to have a romantic side and to use it. Be as open with each other as possible. You won't leave a lot of room for secrecy or icing each other out. Those are atypical problems for this sign. Aries runs into problems of saying too much, too heavy, and too aggressive. You will step on each others' toes. And this is okay from time to time. Aries learns extremely well by dropping into things and just going rather than waiting for theory and explanation. Aries are great spontaneous, abstract thinkers ready for command. This is partly why they make great leaders.

Don't try to be the main leader of the relationship. Consider that you have two leaders both doing their best to guide the relationship. You are not carrying the burden of the relationship by yourself.

Perks of an Aries and Aries Relationship

1. A passionate, intense love life that never dies. Aries will do what it can to keep the fire going for many seasons.

2. Experiencing various different parts of the world together as a couple. You may travel to new places, visit parts of your town you have never experienced, and you may try new hobbies.

3. Some relationships thrive on secrets. Some relationships never have secrets. Two Aries will confide in each other about everything. They don't play those kind of flirtatious games. (Looking at you, Aquarius and Scorpio.)

4. Battle of intelligence. Aries is a strongly intelligent sign. Aries kind of gets the best of all the worlds. Aries are known for being sexy and for having Einstein-like brains. This is part of being the symbol of the mind. And technically, the biggest sexual organ is the brain.

5. You will venture forward into new territory rather than sit by and let the world passively go by.

6. You'll understand each other with ease.

7. You will have passionate yet endearing fights with each other.

8. You'll grow to sharpen yourself as you learn more from someone like you.

9. You'll feel comfortable really quickly because you are so similar.

10. You won't mind saying whatever you think.

Relationships where people are both the same sign can definitely workout -- you'll understand each other and get a double dosage of everything that is essentially you, which can be both wondrous and kind of crazy.

Thank you! Pretty much everything I've read has said this won't work, yet I see our differences that can truly make it work, along with the similarities. He is calm, extremely intelligent, mostly quiet, contemplative, and logic based, in many ways. I am passionate, fiery, and much more emotion based. That's not to say he doesn't have those traits. He's just much more the other side of the sign. He's my perfect match, my perfect partner, and my best friend, (and best lover.)

Your write up isn't just based on the typical, it's a ram and a ram, you'll butt heads, you'll never work. It's much more spiritual based. This all sounds so much like us. It's nice to see it written to confirm what I feel. Thank you again.
